A small brush fire broke out in Lincoln Heights Friday evening.
The fire was reported around 8:20 p.m. Friday at 2200 block of East Humboldt Street, near the Golden State (5) Freeway, and burned approximately three-quarters of an acre of brush in steep terrain with light wind, according to Nicholas Prange of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
