A 46-year-old man riding a motorcycle was struck and killed in a collision with a sedan in Perris, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies from the department’s Perris station responded to the intersection of Ramona Expressway and Redlands Avenue at 4:06 p.m. Friday. Investigators said the motorcyclist was going south on Redlands while the driver of a Nissan sedan was going west on Ramona Expressway when they crashed into each other.
Samuel Alvarado of Perris was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics after they attempted life-saving measures, authorities said.
It was unknown if the driver sustained any injuries.
