A man was found shot to death in Compton, and an investigation was underway Monday.
The shooting was reported at 11:58 p.m. Sunday at South Acacia and West Tichenor streets, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Maxwell Xavier Lord, 24, died at the scene, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner. His city of residence was not known.
