Sheriff’s homicide detectives are investigating the death of a man in Bell Gardens, authorities said Saturday.
Officers from the Bell Gardens Police Department were called at approximately 7:47 p.m. Friday to the 5800 block of Loveland Street near Eastern Avenue, where they found the victim, said homicide Lt. Steven De Jong.
He was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department are assisting Bell Gardens police with the investigation.
