A woman was killed and at least one other person was injured in an apparent sword attack Thursday in San Dimas.
Investigators responded to the 300 block of South Huntington Avenue, between Arrow Highway and Cienega Avenue, around 3:30 p.m. Thursday regarding a fatal stabbing, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
According to reports from the scene, the assailant wielded a sword, and a third person may have also been injured, but there was no information immediately available about the suspect.
It was unclear what prompted the attack.
