An 89-year-old man diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, who went missing from the Pico-Robertson district, has been found, authorities said Saturday.
John Doo Song had last been seen at about 4:30 p.m. Thursday in the 8700 block of Olympic Boulevard, and authorities sought the public’s help to find him.
On Saturday, the Los Angeles Police Department reported that he had been found. Further details were not released.
A Silver Alert had been issued by the California Highway Patrol on behalf of the LAPD. The Silver Alert program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts involving the disappearance of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
