Los Angeles firefighters were assisting Sunday in containing a four-acre brush fire that broke out in Ventura County that was threatening a nearby residence.
The fire was reported at around 4:20 p.m. Sunday at nine Saddlebow Road, near Bell Canyon Road, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Los Angeles air and ground resources were on scene, where brush was burning slowly in Bell Canyon, as an assisting agency to the Ventura County Fire Department, the department reported.
Fire personnel were protecting structures in the area and coordinating resources to contain the spread, fire officials said.
No injuries were immediately reported.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
