A suspect described only as a juvenile was arrested in connection with a stabbing attack in Desert Hot Springs that left one person dead and another wounded.
Officers responded around 9:30 p.m. Friday to reports of a physical altercation near the intersection of Two Bunch Palms Trail and Nahum Drive, where they found two people with stab wounds, according to the Desert Hot Springs Police Department. Paramedics pronounced one dead at the scene, and the other was taken to a hospital in unknown condition.
Detectives subsequently identified and arrested a juvenile suspect. A name was not released due to the suspect’s age.
