A person was shot to death in Palmdale, and an investigation was underway, authorities said Thursday.
Deputies responded around midnight Wednesday to reports of a gunshot victim in the 38200 block of 10th Street East, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
“When deputies arrived on scene, they located a male suffering from a gunshot wound. Deputies immediately rendered aid to the male. Fire Department personnel responded and pronounced the male deceased,” the department said.
It was reported the victim was involved in an altercation before being shot, the department said.
A suspect description was not immediately available.
