Officers recovered a handgun during a traffic stop in Long Beach, authorities said Saturday.
The traffic stop occurred about 8:20 p.m. Friday in the area of 20th Street and Lewis Avenue, the Long Beach Police Department reported.
“During the investigation, officers recovered a firearm,” according to a police statement. “The suspect was arrested. The investigation is ongoing.”
The name of the person arrested was not immediately released.
