A woman was killed when the vehicle she was driving crashed and rolled over Saturday in Palmdale.
The crash was reported shortly before 2:30 a.m. at East Avenue P and 20th Street East, while California Highway Patrol officers found the victim and the wreckage of the vehicle, CHP Officer Michael Nasir told City News Service.
Darrica Wannamaker, 34, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her city of residence was not available.
Firefighters and paramedics were dispatched to the location at 2:24 a.m, according to a Los Angeles County Fire Department dispatcher, who added it was not immediately known whether anyone was taken to a hospital.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the crash.
