The California Highway Patrol Saturday activated a Silver Alert in hopes of quickly locating a 59-year-old man who went missing from Van Nuys.
Richard Biejo was last seen just after midnight Tuesday morning at Victory Boulevard and Columbus Avenue, according to the CHP.
He suffers from a medical condition that requires monitoring, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Biejo is Filipino, 5 feet, 9 inches tall, 160 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a blue puffer jacket and white beanie.
Anyone who sees Biejo or knows his whereabouts was asked to call 911.
The CHP activates a Silver Alert when an elderly, developmentally or cognitively impaired person has gone missing and is determined to be at-risk.
