South Gate police Tuesday circulated a photo of a substitute teacher and teacher’s aide who is jailed on suspicion of child molestation, in hopes that other possible victims come forward.

Investigators identified Andrew Louie Sandoval, 27, of South Gate, as a suspect of child molestation and other related offenses.

South Gate Police Department officials said Sandoval was employed as a substitute teacher and a teacher’s aide in the greater Los Angeles County area. Detectives believe possible additional victims of Sandoval have yet to come forward.

Details of the alleged assaults for which he is jailed were not immediately released.

According to jail records, he was arrested last Thursday and was being held in lieu of $7 million bail. He was charged Monday with multiple counts of lewd acts and sexual activity with a child and possession of child pornography.
