A Greater Alarm fire tore through a one-story abandoned restaurant Saturday in the Westlake area.
Los Angeles Fire Department firefighters were called at around 12:14 a.m. to 1259 West Sixth St. where they found heavy flames coming from the building, according to reports from the scene.
Firefighters were working to prevent the fire from burning a nearby two-story building.
