Firefighters are engaged in an hourslong battle with heavy flames at a greater alarm fire as they try to contain a massive blaze at a warehouse in Montebello.
The fire was reported at around 1:05 a.m. to a 1,000-square-foot commercial building at 860 Truck Way where fire crews found the high-leaping flames had engulfed the building, KNBC 4 reported.
Five to seven additional agencies are assisting the Montebello Fire Department with the fire, Alex Gillman, a spokesman with the Montebello FD, told Fox 11.
One firefighter was injured and was treated at the scene, Fox 11 reported.
