Firefighters quickly attacked a quarter-acre brush fire burning at Hansen Dam Saturday.
The fire was reported about 2:20 p.m. Saturday in medium to heavy brush near 10953 N. Dronfield Ave. with winds at 5-10 mph, said the Los Angeles Fire Department’s Margaret Stewart.
“There are no structures threatened,” Stewart said. “Firefighters on scene will handle with no expectation for additional resources required.”
Assistance from the Los Angeles County Fire Department was quickly canceled.
