Firefighters battled a brush fire near the Sepulveda Basin Sports Complex Sunday.
The fire was reported around 5:25 p.m. Sunday in the 6200 block of North Balboa Boulevard, in Granada Hills, where two acres of grass burned, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokesperson Margaret Stewart.
Around 6:10 p.m., firefighters had contained the blaze, and were continuing to get a wet line around the perimeter, Stewart said.
No injuries or structural damages were reported, she said.
The cause of the blaze was not immediately known.
