Firefighters knocked down a structure fire in a two-story house in the Pico-Union neighborhood of Los Angeles Sunday.
The fire was reported around 5:25 p.m. Sunday in the 1500 block of South Bonnie Brae Street, near Venice Boulevard, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokesperson Margaret Stewart.
It took 50 firefighters less than 40 minutes to contain flames on the second and third-floor attic. The fire appeared to have ignited in the attic, Stewart said. The cause was not immediately known.
No injuries or structural damages were reported.
