Two people were found dead Thursday at a hotel in Irvine, and police were investigating the deaths as a possible murder-suicide.
According to Irvine police, officers responded around 2:30 p.m. Thursday to a medical-aid call at a hotel in the 7900 block of Irvine Center Drive in Irvine.
“Officers discovered two elderly people deceased in the room,” according to police.
Kyle Oldoerp of the Irvine Police Department told City News Service the deaths are being investigated as a possible murder-suicide. He said the deceased were a man believed to be in his 80s and a woman possibly in her 60s. The pair had been expected to check out of the Marriott hotel Thursday morning.
