A 27-year-old man was found dead Friday on train tracks in Montebello.
Officers responded near the intersection of South Vail Avenue and Ferguson Drive around 2:10 a.m. regarding an unresponsive man on the tracks, according to the Montebello Police Department.
He was later identified by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner as Eric Hernandez.
The circumstances that led to the man ending up on the tracks and the cause of his death remain unknown.
