Police recovered a handgun while investigating a domestic violence call at a home in Long Beach, authorities said Saturday.
The suspect fled the scene prior to the arrival of officers, the Long Beach Police Department reported.
Officers were dispatched at about 9:45 p.m. Friday to a home in the 2800 block of East 15th Street regarding a domestic violence call.
The investigation was ongoing, and no further information was immediately available.
