Firefighters Sunday contained a 20-acre light grass fire that burned west of the San Diego (405) Freeway at the Sepulveda Basin in Van Nuys, authorities said.
The 20 firefighters dispatched at 4:07 a.m. to the 15700 block of West Burbank Boulevard had the fire contained at 7 a.m., the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
No structures were threatened and no injuries were reported. A cause of the fire was under investigation.
