Police recovered a handgun while at an “assault with a deadly weapon” call Sunday morning in Long Beach, authorities said.
Officers responded at about 12:10 a.m. Sunday to the 200 block of 67th Way and during their investigation recovered a firearm, the Long Beach Police Department reported.
The suspect, who was later determined to be a prohibited possessor, was arrested. The investigation was ongoing, police said.
