A fire that erupted Monday in a San Jacinto mobile home caused significant damage, displacing the three occupants, all of whom escaped injury.
The blaze was reported just before 3 p.m. in the 200 block of Lori Ann Street, near Cottonwood Avenue, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
The agency said that multiple engine crews were sent to the location and encountered flames raging in the doublewide trailer.
The two adults and child residing at the location evacuated prior to firefighters’ arrival.
Crews contained the blaze within minutes and completely knocked it down by 3:40 p.m., according to reports from the scene.
Red Cross personnel were requested to assist the displaced occupants with finding temporary alternate living arrangements.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
