A male pedestrian wax killed when he ran in front of an SUV on the San Diego (405) Freeway in Carson, authorities said Monday.
The crash was reported to the California Highway Patrol at 10:52 p.m. Sunday on the northbound Sandiego Freeway around the Carson Street off-ramp, according to the department.
The person who notified the CHP said a male ran in front of her vehicle and she hit him.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, and the Medical Examiner’s office summoned. His age was not available.
The white Nissan SUV and pedestrian wound up on the right shoulder, so a SigAlert was not needed, CHP Officer Sergio Garcia told City News Service.
