Two suspects were taken into custody Wednesday for allegedly traveling in an SUV with a rifle-style replica firearm pointed out a window toward the campus of Pepperdine University.
The university received notification of the two suspects shortly after 3 p.m., according to the Pepperdine Graphic, the university’s student newspaper.
Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies arrested the two suspects at about 3:30 p.m. According to the paper, the suspects drove onto campus at the John Tyler Drive entrance with what was later determined to be a BB gun.
No additional information was immediately available.
