Two women were severely injured in a two-vehicle crash Thursday in the Westlake area.
The crash occurred just before 2 p.m. in the 1400 block of West Eighth Street, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Two women, aged 28 and 32, were taken to a hospital, while a third person declined medical treatment.
According to the LAPD, the 28-year-old woman had to be freed by firefighters from one of the vehicles and was taken to a hospital in critical condition. The second woman was listed in serious condition.
Circumstances of the crash were not immediately available.
