An investigation was underway Monday to identify a suspect in the shooting death of a man in Pomona.
The shooting was reported at 10:55 p.m. Saturday in the 2100 block of North Towne Avenue, according to a Pomona Police Department statement.
Paramedics took the victim to a hospital where he died from his wounds, police said. His name was not released pending notification of relatives.
Motive for the shooting was not known, police said.
