Firefighters battled a structure fire that broke out in a vacant building in an industrial area of Los Angeles Tuesday.
Units were dispatched at around 7:40 a.m. Tuesday to 2060 E. Violet St., near the intersection of S. Santa Fe Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
“Firefighters took just 39 minutes in defensive firefighting operations, to confine and extinguish flames within a vacant and boarded one-story commercial building in a largely industrial area,” the department reported.
The cause of the fire was under investigation, officials said.
There were no injuries.
