A suspect of home invasion was stabbed Friday in Winnetka after a confrontation with the residents.
Officers responding to reports of a burglary around 4:12 a.m. Friday, on the 20100 block of Elkwood Street and found the Hispanic male in his 20s bleeding, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department said.
The suspect was first confronted by the adult daughter, then by the father which led to a physical altercation, allegedly when the suspect was stabbed.
The man was taken to a hospital in stable condition and an investigation was underway.
