Police investigating a “no hit” shooting in Long Beach arrested a man in the area for unrelated charges, authorities said Saturday.
Officers dispatched at about 1:45 a.m. Friday to the area of Wardlow Road and Cerritos Avenue located evidence that a shooting had occurred, the Long Beach Police Department reported.
The suspect fled the scene prior to the arrival of police.
“Officers arrested a male adult suspect in the area for unrelated charges; their involvement in the shooting, if any, is under investigation,” according to a police statement.
No injuries were reported.
