A suspect was arrested and a handgun was recovered during a routine traffic stop in Long Beach, authorities said Sunday.
The stop occurred at about 7:20 p.m. Saturday in the area of Anaheim Street and the Long Beach (710) Freeway, the Long Beach Police Department reported.
Officers recovered a handgun and arrested a suspect during their investigation, police said. The investigation was ongoing.
