Two 7-Eleven stores, about eight miles apart, were hit by armed robbers Sunday.

The first robbery happened around 12:30 a.m. Sunday at 4800 Temple City Blvd., near Lower Azusa Road, in Temple City, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

About an hour later, a robbery was reported at 2700 Huntington Drive, near Las Lomas Road, in Duarte, the LASD reported.

The armed suspects were all dressed entirely in black and wore ski masks, according to the department. It was unclear if they fled on foot or a different form of transport.

While the descriptions of the suspects were similar, the sheriff’s department could not confirm a connection between the two robberies.
