A structure fire that burned a one-story home in Reseda was knocked down Monday, but two pet cats were unaccounted for.

Just after 5:40 p.m. Sunday, a fire was reported at 19356 W. Cantara St., just south of Roscoe Boulevard and just west of Tampa Avenue, said Margaret Stewart of Los Angeles Fire Department.

At least one other structure was exposed to the fire, but all human occupants had safely exited prior to the LAFD arrival, Stewart said.

50 firefighters were able to contain the fire in under 25 minutes, according to LAFD.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.
