Having won a favorable arbitration ruling that was subsequently confirmed by a judge, a law firm is asking the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department to enforce a $155,000 judgment against “Basketball Wives” star Gloria Govan, who allegedly owes the money related to her divorce from retired NBA player Matt Barnes.

Lawyers for Kibre & Neman LLP filed a writ of execution on in Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday. The total amount includes $11,140 in interest accumulated in addition to the $143,140 arbitrator’s judgment confirmed on July 25 by Judge Holly J. Fujie.

The law firm filed the petition on Jan. 31, stating that the parties entered into an agreement for legal services in January 2019 in connection with post-divorce judgment matters in connection with her marriage to Barnes. The former couple ended their marriage in 2016.

Barnes, 44, was a small forward who played 14 seasons for various NBA teams, including the Lakers and Clippers. In addition to her reality show resume, Govan, 39, has appeared in such films as “Chocolate City” and “More Family.” She married former Laker Derek Fisher, 50, in July 2021.
