A man was stabbed Wednesday in the Baldwin Hills/Crenshaw area, and an investigation was underway.
The stabbing occurred about 8:35 a.m. in the 5700 block of Jefferson Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. No arrests were reported.
According to Fox 11, after he was injured, the man went to a Metro Station at Jefferson and La Cienega boulevards, and authorities were notified.
“Metro thanks its elevator contractor for quickly notifying officials of a person at the La Brea E Line Station who reported being stabbed off-Metro property,” Metro’s Dave Sotero said in a statement. “The victim sought help at the station knowing there would be someone to connect with and he was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.”
Anyone with information about the crime was urged to Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS.
