A 48-year-old man pleaded not guilty Thursday to killing another man with a fire hydrant wrench in Westminster.
Hoa Minh Le pleaded not guilty in the jail courtroom in Santa Ana Thursday to murder with a sentencing enhancement for the personal use of a deadly weapon. He was next due in court Nov. 22 for a pretrial hearing in the West Justice Center.
Le is accused of killing 59-year-old Long Kim Nguyen.
Police were dispatched about 5:45 a.m. Aug. 17 to the 9200 block of Bolsa Avenue, near Moran Street, regarding a man down and found the victim bleeding from the head, according to the Westminster Police Department.
The man died at the scene, police said.
