Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriffs’ Department’s South Los Angeles Station are asking for the public’s help Friday in finding a 13-year-old girl who was last seen in the unincorporated area of West Athens, east of Inglewood.
Sophia Mariel Cruz was last seen on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. on the 1700 block of West 120th St. near Harvard Boulevard, according to the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
Sophia is Latina, 5 feet, 3 inches tall, weighs 150 pounds, has long, curly black hair, brown eyes and braces. She was last seen wearing a gray sweater, black and white pants and had a black Jansport backpack.
