Two men were stabbed Saturday in separate locations less than five minutes apart.

The first attack was reported at 2:19 p.m. Saturday at Sixth and Bonnie Brae streets in the Westlake area, Los Angeles Police Department Officer Tony Im told City News Service. Paramedics took a 25-year-old man who was conscious and breathing to a hospital.

At 2:22 p.m., a 35-year-old man was stabbed in the 5300 block of Holmes Avenue, in the Central-Alameda area, he said. He was hospitalized in unknown condition.

Information about suspects and motives was not immediately available, Im said.
