Two suspects were arrested on outstanding warrants and a handgun was recovered during a traffic stop in Long Beach, authorities said Saturday.
The stop occurred at about 8:40 p.m. Friday near the 1000 block of East 11th Street, the Long Beach Police Department reported.
“During their investigation, and with the assistance of a detection K9, officers recovered a firearm,” according to a police statement.
Police said the investigation was ongoing, but no further information was immediately available.
