A 45-year-old man whose body was found in the Hancock Park area was identified Friday by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner.
The man was discovered at about 11:15 a.m. Monday near Fourth Street and La Brea Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
He was later identified by the medical examiner as Christopher Ruiz, and the cause of his death was undetermined.
Information was not immediately available on the identity of the man, or on his cause of death.
