The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Sunday was asking for public help locating a missing teen.
Makiyah Jadore Shirley, 14, was last seen Saturday around 7:10 p.m. in the 9300 block of Firth Boulevard, just west of Compton Avenue, in the Watts neighborhood of South Los Angeles, the sheriff’s department announced.
The girl, who also answers to “Kiyah,” was described as 5 feet, 2 inches tall, about 115 pounds, with brown eyes and a scab on her left knee.
She was last seen wearing her red-and-black hair in a bun, gray shorts with a flower design, a black hoodie, gray shoes, gold heart-shaped earrings and a gold heart-shaped necklace.
