A 66-year-old man was shot to death Sunday in the Harvard Park neighborhood of South Los Angeles and a 60-year-old man was taken into custody as the suspect.
The shooting was reported at 4:51 p.m. Sunday in the 1700 block of West 62nd Street, near Harvard Park, Los Angeles Police Department Officer Norma Eisenman told City News Service.
Responding officers found the man down with multiple gunshot wounds, Eisenman said.
Paramedics rushed the victim to a hospital, where he died, the officer said.
The suspect was taken into custody at the scene, Eisenman said. A possible motive was unclear.
The names of the victim and suspect were not immediately released.
