Riverside County Fire Department crews were able to contain a structural fire at a single-wide trailer well in Desert Edge Friday.
Officials were first notified of the blaze at 1:12 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Corkill Road and 19th Avenue, according to a department statement. The involved structure had “surrounding debris.”
Firefighters were able to contain the blaze shortly before 2:30 p.m., according to a follow-up statement, promising to remain at the scene for at least two hours. The RCFD told City News Service that no injuries were reported.
Desert Edge is a census-designated place between Garnet and Sky Valley.
