No injuries were reported when a suspect Saturday allegedly drove past in a white sedan and fired in the direction of a man who was standing outside his vehicle at his home in Long Beach, authorities said.
Officers dispatched to a shooting call about 5:30 a.m. in the 800 block of Harding Street located the possible target, the Long Beach Police Department reported.
“Preliminary investigation reveals a male adult victim was standing outside his vehicle when an unknown male adult suspect drove past his residence in a white sedan and discharged a firearm in his direction,” according to a police statement.
The suspect fled the scene before police arrived. The suspect and motive were unknown and the investigation was ongoing.
