A fire broke out Sunday in a two-story garden-style apartment building in Canoga Park, authorities said.
The blaze erupted around 3 p.m. Sunday at 20946 W. Bryant St., near De Soto Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. It was primarily in one unit with extension to a second unit, but firefighters prevented any further extension, according to the department.
It took 44 firefighters 18 minutes to extinguish the blaze.
No injuries were reported.
