A pedestrian was fatally struck outside a firehouse in Long Beach, authorities said Tuesday.
The collision was reported around 12:30 a.m. near Claremont Avenue and Second Street in the Belmont Shore neighborhood as the truck was leaving the station, KTLA 5 reported.
The pedestrian, who was described as a man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim’s name and age were not immediately known.
