Three pharmacies were burglarized early Friday along a stretch of Ventura Boulevard in the San Fernando Valley, and authorities sought the public’s help to find the suspects.

The first burglary was reported about 3:30 a.m. Friday in the 20000 block of Ventura Boulevard in Woodland Hills, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. One male suspect wearing dark clothing fled with unknown property.

A second burglary was reported about 4 a.m. in the 18800 block of Ventura Boulevard in Tarzana, and a third was reported about 5:30 a.m. in the 16000 block of Ventura Boulevard in Encino, police said.

The crimes in Tarzana and Encino apparently were committed by the same suspects, described as four males wearing dark clothing, who fled in a Dodge Durango SUV, police said.

Officers saw the suspects fleeing the scene of the Encino crime, where an alarm had been activated, and chased them, but they got away, police said.

Anyone with information on any of the crimes was urged to contact the LAPD West Valley Station at 818-374-7611, or 877-LAPD-247.
