Officers from the Torrance and Hawthorne police departments will conduct High-Visibility Enforcement operations Monday.
From 8 a.m. Monday until 1 p.m., within the Torrance city limits, officers will be looking for traffic violations including speeding and distracted driving, among other offenses.
“The Torrance Police Department is committed to enhancing the safety for drivers, bicyclists and pedestrians through high-visibility enforcement and education in an effort to decrease traffic collisions, reduce injuries and save lives,” said Acting Traffic and Special Events Division Commander Sgt. David Koenig.
