Authorities Wednesday identified a man who was killed in a shooting in front of a dispensary in the Hyde Park area that left a woman wounded.
The shooting was reported at about 6:15 a.m. Tuesday in the 2800 block of West Florence Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Christian Avenido, 34, of Los Angeles died at the scene, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner.
A woman in her late 40s was taken to a hospital in stable condition, police said.
The suspect, who was reported to be about 60 years old, was taken into custody, police said. His name was not immediately released.
According to police, the three people were involved in a dispute in front of the dispensary when the suspect opened fire on the others.
